General Information 

Chlorinated solvent compounds are miscible in water and do not have normal flash points where they can catch fire, they have a wide range of practical industrial uses. They also possess a structure that can be easily altered to produce a diverse array of chemical properties. This makes them useful in four broad areas. They are a class of solvents useful for degreasing and cleaning applications, and are propellants for fire extinguishers or foam blowing. In addition, the compounds are also intermediate chemicals for the manufacture of plastics and resins, and serve as an efficient heat exchange gas in environmental systems.

Direction of use
- Wear suitable protective clothing, including eye and face protection.
- Spray or brush off the solvent degreaser into the targetted area.
- Allow 10-15 minutes for solvent degreaser to soak into the grease, oil and dirt or work the product into the deposit.
- The solvent degreaser then, will then form a quick-break emulsion which carries away the grease, oil and dirt.
- In case of area where build-up of old grease has occurred, a second application of Degreaser is highly recommended
